Children must have turned 3 on or before the 30th of April in the year they attend

3-year-old kindergarten. 

If your child is born between 1st January and 30th April they are eligible to be enrolled in the year they turn 3 OR the year they turn 4.

Many children born between1st January and 30th April benefit developmentally by waiting an additional year before beginning kindergarten.
